Chatham Fredericksburg LB removed *************************

The Letterbox placed at Chatham in Fredericksburg, Va. has been
removed. It...um....seems the poeple that run Chatham have a problem
with Letter boxes.
I have moved the box to a new location and the hitchiker (Sole
Impression)has been moved to the Akoben-War Horn Letter box.

This should remind us all that we "hide" letterboxes for a
reason....descretion is a good way to avoid vandalism, destroyed
boxes, etc.,etc.

Did the people at Chatham give you your box back or did you have to make a
new one?

BTW: Most would rather hear where a HH has been not where it is waiting for
a ride. Take some of the fun out of find a HH.

DOAH!...good point about the hitchiker. Durn rookies.

I was warned about Chatham by another letterboxer who had previously
put box there and had a slightly more "involved" event with the folks
at Chatham. He advised me to recover the box and move it soon. So I
went back the next day, recovered the box and moved it to a new
location (see later posting on this page) The box will now be
called "Dead Snellings and Weeds".....which will all be explained
when you find the box.
